About the role

Join Contentful as a Fullstack Software Engineer focused on building high‑performance automation, workflow, and collaboration features. You will work with modern web technologies to create scalable solutions that empower thousands of customers to manage content at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and deliver best‑in‑class automation and workflow features.
• Develop and maintain full‑stack components using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Integrate collaboration tools to improve team productivity and user experience.
• Apply holistic thinking to ensure seamless user experiences across the platform.
• Rapidly diagnose and fix bugs, leveraging data‑driven insights to guide improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and continuously refine development processes.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends in automations, workflows, and collaboration technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer in a product development environment.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, React, and Node.js with a focus on clean code.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Problem‑solver with a collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Previous work on automation engines or team workflow tools is a plus.
