Global Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

As a Global Quality Assurance Specialist you will support Klüber Lubrication’s worldwide sites in product release decisions and drive continuous improvement of quality standards. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure that our specialty lubrication solutions meet the highest quality and sustainability expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Support global sites in release and exceptional release decisions in coordination with global functions.
• Coordinate resolution of complex product and quality issues, including deviations and investigations.
• Develop, maintain, and harmonise global quality standards, inspection plans, and testing methods.
• Monitor global quality trends and implement sustainable improvement actions across regions and plants.
• Lead cross‑functional projects to enhance quality control processes, operational excellence, and sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Laboratories, and Process Engineering to deliver customer‑focused quality solutions.
• Travel internationally (approximately 10–20%) to support sites, audits, and cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field with relevant experience in quality or process environments.
• Strong analytical and statistical abilities, including structured root‑cause analysis.
• Project‑management experience and confidence in making quality‑related decisions.
• Fluency in German and very good English skills.
