Head of Legal (Part‑time)

About the role

Visium is seeking an experienced, commercially‑minded Head of Legal on a part‑time basis to design and oversee its legal and governance framework as the company expands internationally. The role will support senior leadership, negotiate complex enterprise agreements, and translate emerging AI regulations into practical business solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage Visium’s legal, governance, and compliance framework across all entities.
• Advise the executive team on corporate governance, shareholder matters, financing activities, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead review, negotiation, and optimisation of commercial agreements with customers, partners, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with data‑protection, AI, and sector‑specific regulations.
• Support employment, contractor, mobility, and equity matters in multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop scalable legal processes, templates, and risk‑management frameworks.
• Coordinate external counsel for specialised legal expertise.

Required profile

• 10+ years of legal experience in corporate, commercial, or technology law.
• Background in a top‑tier Swiss or international law firm and in‑house experience.
• Experience with venture‑backed companies, fundraising, and employee stock‑ownership plans.
• Strong expertise in Swiss corporate governance and cross‑border commercial contracting.
