Inside Sales Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales or Order Management professional to lead our Inside Sales & Order Processing team for a globally recognised life sciences organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate quotations, order fulfilment and logistics while driving operational excellence across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Inside Sales & Order Processing team.
• Oversee quotations, order‑to‑cash activities and order processing.
• Manage customer backlogs, shipping schedules and order fulfilment.
• Drive continuous process improvements and monitor KPI performance.
• Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, Finance, Production and Customer Service.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards.
• Support change initiatives, system implementations and business improvement projects.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Inside Sales, Order Management or Customer Service.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a small team.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite, Navision or similar).
• Proven ability to improve processes and manage operational KPIs.
• Fluent in German and English with excellent organisational and communication skills.
