IT Support Specialist – 32h/week Fixed‑Term

About the role

As an IT Support Specialist you will play a key role in maintaining the stability, efficiency and reliability of the IT workplace environment for LYNX. Working in an international setting, you will provide first‑ and second‑line support to employees across multiple locations, ensuring hardware, software and workplace systems run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd level support on‑site and remotely, resolving hardware, software and system issues.
• Manage tickets and service requests, prioritising and tracking them through the ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot technical problems independently or escalate to vendors or internal specialists.
• Install, configure and maintain workstations, laptops and peripherals.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and oversee lifecycle management.
• Document incidents, solutions and system configurations in internal knowledge bases.
• Perform basic administration of client‑server infrastructure such as Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Contribute to standardising workplace setups and IT processes.
• Assist in evaluating and procuring IT hardware and software solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to other IT team members and stakeholders.
• Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to systems and workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, service desk or end‑user support.
• Proactive, service‑oriented mindset with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, international environment.
