Junior Hardware Development Engineer (all genders)

About the role

Stark is seeking a Junior Hardware Development Engineer to join its R&D team in Munich. You will work on the full hardware development cycle for Battery Charging Equipment, from prototype creation to serial‑production support.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and thoroughly debug hardware prototypes.
• Draft, design, and optimise PCB layouts for new functional modules.
• Evaluate and select electronic and electromechanical components based on system requirements.
• Integrate modules with Embedded Software Development Engineers.
• Define, coordinate, and document End‑of‑Line testing procedures to ensure reliability and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with hardware prototyping, including soldering, crimping and 3D printing.
• Knowledge of PCB design and CAD layout tools; embedded software experience is a plus.
• Independent, structured and proactive work style.
• Hands‑on personality with a passion for building, measuring and troubleshooting real hardware.
