Program Management Intern – Defense Technology

About the role

As a Program Management Intern at STARK, you will work within the Program Management Office to help accelerate complex hardware and software programs for autonomous defence systems. You will act as the connective tissue between engineering, production and operations, ensuring that projects move forward efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in tracking project milestones and workstreams using Jira and Confluence, keeping task statuses current.
• Support the organization of cross‑functional meetings, capture decisions, and follow up on action items.
• Help build and maintain dashboards and status reports for leadership, highlighting program health and risks.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and propose process improvements in collaboration with the PMO.
• Ensure project documentation is structured, audit‑ready and easily accessible for all teams.
• Coordinate logistics such as preparing hardware prototypes for testing windows.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Technical or vocational background (e.g., aircraft mechanics, electronics, high‑end RC modeling) with a strong interest in UAVs.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented mindset and comfort working with hardware.
