Junior PMT Engineer (All Genders)

About the role

As a Junior PMT Engineer you will be the operational backbone of our engineering toolchain environment, supporting project teams in day‑to‑day software tool management, user access, and license administration. You will work closely with the Central Systems Engineering and PMT team to translate central methods into practical guidance and train engineers and configuration managers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for project teams and Configuration Managers regarding daily tool operation and support (e.g., 3DEXPERIENCE, JAMA, Jira).
• Troubleshoot basic user issues, workflow bottlenecks, and system access requests across programs.
• Provision licenses, configure user permissions, and set up collaborative spaces according to allocation plans.
• Track tool usage, monitor license availability, and support software deployment requests.
• Create and maintain training materials, user guides, and onboarding modules for engineering tools and workflows.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• 0–2 years of experience in engineering support, tools administration, or systems engineering (including internships or working‑student roles).
• Strong willingness to learn enterprise engineering tools such as 3DEXPERIENCE, JAMA, Jira or similar PLM/Requirements platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate architectural guidance into actionable practices.
• Collaborative, problem‑solving attitude and confidence in driving consensus among diverse teams.
