Junior Procurement Manager (Technical Purchasing)

About the role

We are looking for a driven, detail‑oriented Procurement Manager to build and own our technical purchasing operations from the ground up. You will source electronic and mechanical components for unmanned systems, manage supplier relationships across Europe, and ensure supply‑chain resilience under operational pressure.

Key responsibilities

• National and international sourcing of electronic and mechanical components, tools and services.
• Identify, select, coordinate and evaluate suppliers; build scalable relationships.
• Run structured RFPs, compare offers and provide data‑backed recommendations.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and delivery schedules with partners.
• Track orders, flag risks early and resolve disruptions before they affect production.
• Collaborate closely with design, workshop and quality assurance to clarify technical queries and support change requests.

Required profile

• Degree or vocational training in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering, supply chain management or a comparable technical field.
• Experience in technical purchasing, preferably with electronic components and basic knowledge of mechanical parts.
• German language at C1 level and English at B2 level.
• Ability to manage parallel projects, complex orders and shifting priorities while staying organized.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on preventing supply‑chain issues.
