Junior Vendor Coordinator – Petrochemical Construction

About the role

ENG Bauen is supporting a major international chemical operator on a large‑scale petrochemical construction programme in Germany. The role offers a junior engineer the chance to work on‑site, interfacing with vendors, construction teams and commissioning to ensure smooth hand‑over of plant packages.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary site interface between vendors and the project team.
• Coordinate vendor mobilisation, onboarding and safety briefings.
• Support vendors during installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Track and close vendor punch lists, deficiencies and open technical actions.
• Maintain accurate records of vendor activities, inspections and progress.
• Collaborate with Construction, QA/QC and Completions teams to align vendor work with project schedules.

Required profile

• Technical or engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation or similar).
• 0–3 years of experience on EPC/industrial construction projects preferred.
• Fluent German (spoken and written) – mandatory.
• Proficient English.
• Willingness to work in a hands‑on, site‑based environment.
