Lead Recruiter – Talent Acquisition Lead

About the role

Proxima Fusion is seeking a Lead Recruiter to steer its Talent Acquisition function during a critical growth phase. You will shape hiring strategy, build a recruiting team, and ensure the company attracts world‑class talent across physics, engineering, software, manufacturing and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end Talent Acquisition strategy, translating hiring plans into a resourced recruiting operation.
• Design and execute hiring approaches for both high‑tech R&D and high‑volume manufacturing roles.
• Recruit, coach and develop a team of recruiters, deciding on in‑house versus agency or RPO support.
• Close the most critical and hard‑to‑fill positions personally while establishing scalable processes and employer branding.
• Partner with business leaders to forecast workforce needs and align talent pipelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading talent acquisition in fast‑growing, technically complex organisations.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Track record of building high‑performing recruiting teams.
