Logistics Specialist – Data Center Operations

About the role

As a Logistics Specialist within AWS Infrastructure Services, you will support the day‑to‑day material flow for Amazon data centers. You will ensure that all hardware components are received, tracked, and delivered to engineers on time, while maintaining strict safety and cleanliness standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review data‑center inventory, inbound shipments and demand forecasts.
• Receive, unpack, and verify incoming parts, updating material‑tracking databases.
• Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.
• Distribute parts to Data Center Technicians and Engineers as needed.
• Operate the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process and manage replacements.
• Schedule deliveries and pick‑ups across multiple locations.
• Adhere to safety protocols, perform frequent lifting, and keep workspaces organized.

Required profile

• Ability to follow strict safety and cleanliness standards.
• Comfort with frequent physical handling of hardware components.
• Attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping.
• Capacity to work in a fast‑paced, inventory‑driven environment.
