Mechanical Engineer – Aerospace & Defence

About the role

TXT PACE is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on international aerospace and defence projects in collaboration with Airbus. The role involves developing, analysing and supporting mechanical solutions throughout the product lifecycle within multidisciplinary, international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate mechanical design solutions.
• Support design, industrialisation and production processes.
• Perform structural, functional or system analyses.
• Use and continuously improve design methods, tools and processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, systems and test disciplines.
• Support technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, standardisation and quality initiatives.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in aerospace, defence or complex industrial environments.
• Proven experience with mechanical design and CAD/DMU tools such as CATIA or 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Ability to work autonomously on structured technical activities.
• Strong analytical and solution‑oriented approach with a team‑oriented mindset in multidisciplinary, international settings.
• Experience handling technical documentation and regulatory requirements.
