Mechanical Project Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join a leading international contractor on one of Europe’s largest hyperscale data‑centre projects in Frankfurt. You will support the delivery of mechanical packages from installation through commissioning and handover, working closely with project managers, construction managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of mechanical packages on a major data‑centre project.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure safe, on‑time execution.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and design information.
• Coordinate mechanical installations with MEP and CSA teams.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and project handover activities.
• Participate in client, design and subcontractor meetings.

Required profile

• Experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Package Engineer.
• Background delivering large‑scale construction projects.
• Experience in data‑centres, pharmaceutical, industrial, manufacturing, commercial or other mission‑critical environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Frankfurt, Germany.
