About the role
Kraken is looking for an Office Manager to keep its fast‑growing Berlin team running smoothly. You will be the central point of contact for staff, partners and visitors, ensuring the office environment supports the company’s mission to create a smart, sustainable energy system.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for the German team, clients and partners.
- Arrange travel, accommodation and visitor logistics.
- Organise, host and run internal and external events, including team lunches, cultural celebrations and global initiatives.
- Coordinate office catering, large‑scale meals and meeting requests.
- Manage internal and external communications via email and Slack.
- Develop and maintain health and safety standards, assign fire wardens and champion safety in Germany.
- Prepare onboarding for new hires, manage equipment, ship gear and track on‑site tech inventory.
- Oversee relationships with third‑party providers such as cleaners, suppliers and building management.
- Maintain stock of branded merchandise for office use and events.
- Create and keep office documentation and guides up to date, especially on Notion.
Required profile
- Highly organised, proactive and energetic.
- Comfortable juggling multiple stakeholders both inside and outside the company.
- Experience with health‑and‑safety processes and ability to lead safety initiatives in Germany.
- Passion for planning and executing events of any scale.
