People & Culture Generalist – HR Operations & Culture

About the role

METYCLE is looking for a People & Culture Generalist to own the full employee lifecycle and drive a vibrant, inclusive workplace. You will support HR compliance, recruitment, learning, and culture initiatives across a fast‑growing, international team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end People Operations: onboarding, internal moves, off‑boarding and serve as the go‑to HR contact.
• Prepare contracts, amendments, reference letters and ensure compliance with German (and international) labor law.
• Maintain accurate employee data in Personio and coordinate with payroll providers, tax advisors and EOR partners.
• Coordinate the full recruiting process, from job postings to interview scheduling and employer branding.
• Design and run engagement, recognition, well‑being and DEI initiatives, including team events and workshops.
• Support learning & development programs, feedback cycles and growth frameworks.
• Contribute to HR projects such as process optimisation, policy documentation, automation and DEI strategy.

Required profile

• Passion for people, culture and creating exceptional employee experiences.
• Strong knowledge of German labor law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to act as a trusted advisor for employees and managers.
• Experience coordinating recruitment and organizing employee events.
• Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and DEI.

Required skills

• Personio (HRIS) proficiency.
