Project Manager – Frankfurt

About the role

Mercury, the European leader in construction solutions, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex engineering and construction projects in Frankfurt. You will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget while meeting the company’s high standards for quality, health, safety, and environmental performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and manage project risks through regular risk review meetings.
• Meet KPI targets covering financial metrics, cash management, health & safety, quality, and environmental performance.
• Oversee profit & loss for projects and ensure accurate financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with Mercury Engineering standards for culture, safety, quality, environment, security, and integrity.
• Liaise with key stakeholders to deliver all project aspects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies, site logistics plans, schedules, labour histograms, cost and budget plans.
• Review, sign‑off and implement project quality and EHS management plans.
• Manage and motivate construction and engineering teams.
• Select and appoint subcontractors and suppliers in line with project specifications.
• Chair weekly internal, supplier and subcontractor meetings to coordinate performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large‑scale construction or engineering projects.
• Strong track record of risk identification and mitigation.
• Demonstrated ability to meet financial and KPI targets, including profit & loss responsibility.
• Experience ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to develop detailed project schedules, logistics plans, and cost controls.
