Project Manager NDT – Advanced Inspection Projects

About the role

As a Project Manager NDT at Westinghouse Electric Company in Mannheim, you will lead the development and deployment of innovative non‑destructive testing (NDT) inspection methods and systems. You will work from concept through field application, collaborating closely with technical leadership to deliver complex technical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute NDT projects, including advanced and mechanized inspection techniques.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and ensure delivery against quality, cost and schedule targets.
• Collaborate with technical management on development, qualification and deployment of new inspection solutions.
• Identify project risks, define mitigation measures and monitor progress.
• Support preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
• Drive continuous improvement of inspection processes and project execution.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering (mechanical, materials science, physics, mechatronics) or industrial engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a technical environment, preferably in NDT.
• Proven project‑management experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Fluent German and good English communication skills.
