SAP ECC Consolidation Project Manager – Freelance Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP ECC Consolidation Project Manager to lead a large‑scale system consolidation for an international enterprise. The assignment focuses on merging three productive SAP ECC landscapes across Europe, Asia and the Americas into a single target ECC system, with future S/4HANA considerations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the consolidation of three SAP ECC systems into one target environment.
• Map source systems to the target, create transparency on processes, custom developments and complexity drivers.
• Coordinate process harmonisation across sites, countries and business units.
• Manage functional gap analysis, design decisions and implementation in the target ECC system.
• Oversee data cleansing, migration preparation, test loads, reconciliations and support SIT/UAT.
• Plan and execute cut‑over, go‑live readiness and post‑go‑live stabilisation.
• Engage and align business, IT, functional and external stakeholders throughout the project.

Required profile

• Proven experience as SAP Project/Program/Deployment Manager on ECC consolidation, carve‑out or post‑merger integration projects.
• Strong functional background in Finance and Supply Chain Management.
• Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder environments.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
