SCADA Manager – Lead Strategy & Integration

About the role

As a SCADA Manager you will shape the future of reliable and secure energy infrastructure by defining the SCADA/OT strategy, architecture and long‑term technology roadmap. You will work in a collaborative environment that values innovation, operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the SCADA/OT strategy, architecture and roadmap across the project portfolio.
• Oversee SCADA integration, commissioning and operational readiness for all projects.
• Coordinate internal teams and external suppliers to deliver high‑quality, secure and scalable solutions.
• Manage budgets, contracts, forecasts and financial performance within the SCADA/OT domain.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, grid requirements and operational processes.
• Lead, mentor and support the SCADA/OT team while driving continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in SCADA, automation or operational technology within energy, infrastructure or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA architectures, PLC programming, industrial communication protocols and control‑systems integration.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary projects and collaborating with engineering, construction, operations and IT teams.
• Fluent English; additional languages (Italian, Spanish, French, German) are a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in renewable‑energy projects, grid compliance and OT cybersecurity is desirable.
