Senior Accountant

About the role

As a Senior Accountant at Unybrands you will tackle complex financial challenges in a fast‑moving, global startup environment. You will collaborate across time zones with Finance and Procurement teams, maintain accounting processes, and help evolve controls while preparing accounts in NetSuite ERP under IFRS.

Key responsibilities

• Complete month‑end general ledger closing tasks.
• Support the development and documentation of accounting policies.
• Conduct limited technical research within assigned areas.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Assist with project work and systems implementation initiatives.
• Support financial and tax audits.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in e‑commerce or consumer goods.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed, multi‑country team.
• Highly organized with clear communication skills.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA or similar is preferred.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with NetSuite ERP.
