Senior Backend Web Developer (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Senior Backend Web Developer you will join a small, highly dedicated team building ChangeMaker, a leading SaaS platform for large‑scale business transformation projects. You will work on a mature product used by Fortune 500 companies and international consulting firms, contributing from prototype to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, discuss and implement new backend features for ChangeMaker.
• Document architectural and technical decisions.
• Support and mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews.
• Maintain and modernise the existing backend codebase.
• Participate in testing, both automated and manual, to ensure high code quality.

Required profile

• High proficiency in TypeScript and NodeJS.
• Strong understanding of modern web technologies.
• Solid experience with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience with GraphQL and API design.
• At least 5 years of professional backend development experience.
• Excellent English communication skills and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.
