Senior Buyer – Frankfurt

About the role

TSL is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to join its Procurement Team in Frankfurt. You will support major construction and engineering projects by shaping procurement strategy, managing supplier performance and ensuring supply‑chain resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery and risk.
• Lead competitive tendering activities, including RFQs and RFPs.
• Analyse market trends and supplier capabilities to inform procurement decisions.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships across multiple categories.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews covering quality, delivery, cost and service.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, commercial terms and service agreements.
• Draft, review and manage procurement contracts and amendments.
• Ensure supplier compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
• Identify and deliver cost‑control and value‑optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior buyer or procurement professional in construction or engineering environments.
• Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
• Ability to work closely with project, engineering, planning, finance and operations teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and market awareness.
• Experience managing supplier performance and contracts.
