Senior Cyber Defence (MSS) Engineer

About the role

Join the Security Operation Engineering (SOE) team, the technical backbone of our Managed Security Services (MSS) department. You will lead technical customer onboardings, build CI/CD and SOAR automations, and ensure the reliability and performance of our security platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot cloud and on‑premise infrastructure, including core applications such as SOAR and ticketing systems.
• Coordinate and execute technical implementations for customer onboardings, integrating assets and data sources into monitoring platforms.
• Support internal stakeholder applications and continuously enhance MSSP services.
• Shape the technology roadmap by initiating R&D projects on emerging technologies, advanced analytics, and automation.
• Collaborate with teams and customers to design and implement preventive security controls, reducing attack surface.
• Integrate modern automation approaches, including AI/LLM interfaces and CI/CD pipelines, to improve workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree (up to 4 years) or equivalent vocational training with extensive subject‑specific qualifications.
• Strong hands‑on experience with DevOps/DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience securing enterprise IT environments (Windows/AD, Linux, networking).

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: GitHub, Azure DevOps
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
• Scripting/programming: Python, PowerShell, Bash, Go, Rust
• REST API integration
• SIEM/SOAR/XDR platforms: Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, M365 Defender, Splunk
• Familiarity with SOC detection/response lifecycle and MITRE ATT&CK framework
