Senior Process Engineer – Scale‑up & Pilot Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to lead the development, optimisation and scale‑up of a first‑of‑a‑kind industrial process. You will bridge R&D and commercial deployment, working from pilot‑scale experiments to full‑scale production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead process development and scale‑up activities from pilot to commercial deployment.
• Develop and optimise process models, simulations and techno‑economic assessments.
• Generate deep process understanding to support technology decisions.
• Work closely with pilot‑scale operations, troubleshooting and validating improvements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners on engineering design and implementation.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency and scalability.
• Translate technical findings into clear recommendations for technical and commercial stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in process development, scale‑up, pilot plant operations, R&D or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of process optimisation and industrial scale‑up principles.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments.
