Senior Project Lead – Strategy Consulting

About the role

As a Senior Project Lead in Strategy Consulting you will join BASF’s global management consultancy to drive high‑impact transformation projects across the company. You will work closely with senior executives, applying a hands‑on approach to deliver innovative solutions in areas such as growth, sustainability, and post‑merger integration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross‑functional strategy consulting projects from inception to completion.
• Identify improvement opportunities and provide data‑driven recommendations to senior management.
• Communicate project progress and results clearly to all stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global BASF executives on high‑priority initiatives in Innovation & Growth, Marketing & Sales, Organizational Excellence, and M&A integration.
• Ensure end‑to‑end consulting delivery, maintaining quality and timeline commitments.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of experience in strategic consulting or project work at a global consulting firm.
• Proven expertise in project management and consulting methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Strong client‑facing demeanor, inclusive attitude, and reliable teamwork.
• International work experience is advantageous.
