Senior Project Manager - Energy & Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead technically complex, large‑scale energy and infrastructure projects for a global leader in electric drive and automation technology. Based in Berlin, you will act as the main point of contact for customers, consortium partners and internal units, ensuring flawless delivery across cost, schedule, quality and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own cost, schedule and quality targets for customer projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Lead project teams across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, finance and legal.
• Prepare and execute project and toll‑gate reviews.
• Negotiate with internal and external partners and manage contract amendments.
• Monitor risks, opportunities, KPIs and financial performance.
• Ensure timely commissioning, acceptance testing and regular reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Extensive project management experience in technical environments, preferably BESS, rail or hydro projects.
• Strong analytical, structured and proactive work style.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel and work on assignments abroad.
