Senior Project Manager – Offshore HV Export Projects

About the role

Turner Lovell is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead offshore high‑voltage export projects for a global EPC client. Based in Hamburg with a hybrid work model, you will own the full project lifecycle—from engineering and manufacturing to installation and commissioning—while ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of large‑scale EPC projects, aligning execution with company standards, contractual obligations, HSE requirements and client expectations.
• Define and implement the overall project execution strategy across engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning phases.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing, cross‑functional team within a matrix organisation.
• Own project planning and monitor internal and external resources to achieve milestones.
• Manage complex stakeholder, contractor and supplier interfaces, acting as the primary client escalation point.
• Drive best practices in cost control, resource efficiency, risk management and HSE performance.
• Monitor and control project financials, ensuring accurate forecasting and margin protection.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale infrastructure or energy projects in an EPC/EPCI environment.
• Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a matrix setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage scope, cost, schedule and subcontractor performance.
• End‑to‑end project delivery experience from engineering through commissioning.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• High commercial and contractual awareness.
• PMP, IPMA or equivalent certification is advantageous.
• Fluent in English and German.
