Senior Supplier Quality Engineer – Munich

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join STARK’s quality team in Munich. You will support the onboarding and ongoing performance of our suppliers, ensuring that incoming components meet strict quality standards and that production runs without delays.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with supplier onboarding, qualification and regular performance tracking under senior guidance.
• Manage supplier non‑conformances (SCARs), follow up on corrective actions (CAPA/8D) and monitor deadlines.
• Participate in part approval processes such as PPAP and FAIR, and plan basic incoming inspections.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Purchasing to review drawings, key characteristics and design details.
• Prepare for supplier audits and take part in risk reviews (FMEA) alongside senior engineers.
• Support the rollout and maintenance of standardized inspection plans across production sites.
• Monitor baseline supplier metrics (defect rates, delivery reliability) and track environmental compliance (REACH, RoHS).

Required profile

• BSc/MSc in Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• 0–2 years of experience or strong internship exposure in Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance or Supply Chain Management.
• Fluent English; German language skills are a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Quality tools: 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, CAPA.
• Part approval knowledge: PPAP, FAI.
• Ability to read technical drawings, CAD files and engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Excel/Office.
