Senior Talent Partner

About the role

Almetra is scaling its Commercial and Engineering divisions and seeks a Senior Talent Partner to own end‑to‑end hiring for a specific vertical. This high‑ownership role combines recruitment execution with strategic HR business partnership, shaping hiring processes and supporting managers as the company grows.

Key responsibilities

• Full‑cycle recruiting across the assigned vertical, from intake to offer negotiation.
• Develop and optimise sourcing strategies and channel performance on job boards, agencies, and direct pipelines.
• Coach hiring managers on intake quality, structured interviewing, and decision‑making calibration.
• Monitor process health, identify bottlenecks, flag risks early, and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide market intelligence, benchmark compensation, map talent pools, and advise on hiring strategy.
• Partner with vertical leaders on org design, headcount planning, and broader people topics.
• Self‑manage prioritisation across competing roles and deadlines, escalating when needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in in‑house talent acquisition, preferably at a scaling startup or deep‑tech company.
• Proven track record closing senior and technical hires (engineering, ML, commercial, or operations).
• Comfortable handling difficult conversations such as unrealistic briefs, candidate counter‑offers, or process breakdowns.
• Strong process thinking with the ability to spot and address issues before they become problems.
• Experience or strong interest in HR business partnering.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
