Software Engineer – B2B SaaS (Hybrid, Berlin)

About the role

Packa is building the first end‑to‑end SaaS platform for intelligent packaging management. As a Software Engineer you will join a fast‑growing, well‑funded team and work directly with the leadership to shape the product from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical evolution of the platform, improving robustness, performance and scalability.
• Participate in design decisions covering architecture, data models, API design and tooling.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Business stakeholders to create technical solutions that meet user needs.
• Own the full development lifecycle: task breakdown, implementation, deployment and production monitoring.
• Conduct code reviews, write tests and maintain clear documentation.
• Work closely with senior engineers and the tech lead, engaging in pair programming and architecture sessions.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of software development experience, preferably in a scaling SaaS environment.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to question requirements and propose better approaches.
• Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Comfortable asking for help when needed and collaborating in a diverse team.
