Specialist Recruiter

About the role

Microsoft is looking for a Specialist Recruiter to join its EMEA Talent Acquisition team. Based in Germany, you will support hiring for the Commercial Business across Germany, Austria and the wider EMEA region. The role requires a proactive, agile mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders and hiring managers to understand long‑term talent needs and advise on talent gaps.
• Develop and lead recruiting processes and strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Analyse hiring data and trends to create and execute hiring plans for complex talent pools.
• Attract candidates by leveraging market knowledge and differentiating Microsoft’s opportunities.
• Collaborate across teams, including engineering, to source and recruit top talent.
• Drive hiring initiatives for Germany, Austria and other EMEA locations as needed.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated and able to make sound decisions independently.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working through ambiguity and removing roadblocks.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
