Systems & Landing Gear Engineer (m/w/d)

About the role

As a Systems & Landing Gear Engineer you will take technical responsibility for the complete landing‑gear system of new Part‑25 aircraft programmes. Based in Munich, you will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure compliance with EASA regulations and successful certification.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sizing, development and modification of landing‑gear systems and equipment.
• Define requirements and conduct verification & validation according to ARP4754.
• Prepare Part 21 compliance documentation (MOC 0‑9) and safety analyses at system and equipment level.
• Draft specifications and type‑design documents; act as the technical point of contact for suppliers.
• Participate in EASA panel meetings and support qualification, ground and flight‑test activities.
• Perform technical trade studies and develop solutions for in‑service issues.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or Diplom‑Ingenieur in Aerospace Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry, including at least one full Part‑25 aircraft programme from inception to certification.
• Expert knowledge of landing‑gear systems and familiarity with EASA Part 21J, CS/FAR 25.
• Strong English skills and basic German language ability.
• Proven ability to organise work efficiently, act independently and take responsibility for technical decisions.
