Threat Finance Specialist

About the role

The Threat Finance Specialist will lead and coordinate Counter Threat Finance intelligence and analytical activities for U.S. European Command (EUCOM). This position ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while supporting operational needs across the theater.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate Counter Threat Finance activities for EUCOM.
• Manage the DoD Counter Threat Finance Program within the EUCOM theater.
• Identify intelligence requirements in partnership with EUCOM Intelligence and Operations staff.
• Perform preliminary intelligence analysis and integrate Threat Finance C3I matters.
• Advise interagency representatives, JICTC, and EUCOM staff on long‑term Counter Threat and Counter Narcotics campaign plans.
• Coordinate analytical activities with financial, academic, scientific, and non‑governmental partners.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for EUCOM component commanders, U.S. government agencies, and federal law‑enforcement partners.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with proof required.
• Eligibility for Top‑Secret clearance with SCI access.
• Ability to meet selective service certification (male applicants born after 12/31/1959).
• Compliance with DoD civilian personnel regulations, including the Exceptional Family Member Program.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time (TDY/business travel).
• Ability to work during severe weather or emergencies as a Mission Essential employee.
• Subject to pre‑employment drug screening and random testing.
