Vice President Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President of Finance to shape the financial strategy of a fast‑growing Berlin‑based tech company. This senior leader will drive FP&A, financial systems, and strategic analysis, providing actionable insights that influence commercial and operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the FP&A and Financial Systems teams.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Deliver high‑quality financial modelling and strategic analysis for executive decision‑making.
• Provide clear performance insights with a focus on B2C marketing spend and ROI.
• Present financial results and recommendations to senior leadership, board members, and external stakeholders.
• Drive improvements in financial systems, tools, and reporting within a Workday Financials environment.
• Enhance finance processes to support scalability and growth.
• Build, mentor, and develop high‑performing finance teams.
• Partner closely with commercial, marketing, and operational teams on strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• 10+ years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership.
• Strong background in FP&A, financial planning, and analysis.
• Proven track record building financial models and delivering strategic insights.
• Experience in B2C or high‑growth tech environments is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management, including board‑level exposure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
