Warehouse Technician – Kaiserslautern

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Technician to join our team at the Army Depot in Kaiserslautern. The role involves handling a variety of military‑standard and commercial medical, dental, optical, and veterinary supplies, ensuring they are received, stored, and shipped accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload, lift and move materials, including items up to 50 lb (23 kg).
• Unpack palletized shipments and re‑pallet or bin items for storage or dispatch.
• Verify incoming shipments for completeness, condition, and correct documentation.
• Count and segregate inventory by expiration date and lot number.
• Operate motorized material handling equipment (forklift, stock selector, pallet jacks) to lift loads up to 10,000 lb.
• Initiate Supply Discrepancy Reports for overages, shortages, or damaged goods.
• Pack fragile or sensitive items securely for shipping.
• Label pallets with accurate shipping information and occasionally work swing shifts.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of experience in warehouse or material handling environments.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Neat, professional appearance.
• Physical capability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lb.
• Forklift license preferred.
