Business Development Manager – Collectibles & Trading Cards

About the role

eBay is looking for a Business Development Manager to shape the growth of its Collectibles & Trading Cards segment. You will drive the acquisition of high‑value sellers, brands, and retailers, ensuring a rich inventory that meets the needs of collectors worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage target sellers, brands, and marketplace agencies for short‑ and long‑term acquisition.
• Manage a robust sales pipeline to deliver a continuous flow of new inventory for the Trading function.
• Onboard and enable newly acquired partners to fully leverage eBay’s trading capabilities.
• Build and expand partnerships with service providers that have limited presence on eBay.
• Continuously innovate the acquisition operating model to keep pace with evolving e‑commerce trends.
• Drive procedural changes that improve business performance and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development within the collectibles or trading‑cards space.
• Demonstrated success acquiring brands and sellers on a marketplace platform.
• High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to introduce fresh ideas.
• Strong network of contacts in the collectibles industry.
