Manager, Monetisation

About the role

eBay is looking for a Manager, Monetisation to lead special pricing and seller programmes across the UK and Germany while supporting broader commercial initiatives throughout Europe. You will work at the intersection of commercial strategy, analytics, and operational execution to drive value for buyers, sellers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and execute seller‑level pricing, special pricing and monetisation initiatives across Europe, focusing on the UK and Germany.
• Build business cases evaluating GMV, revenue, take rate, investment, seller performance and profitability.
• Track agreements, programmes and pricing initiatives to ensure expected outcomes and identify risks or improvement opportunities.
• Partner with finance, analytics and seller teams to translate data into actionable pricing recommendations.
• Coordinate with legal, operations, product and commercial teams for accurate and timely implementation of pricing changes.
• Improve processes, governance and performance tracking for special pricing and seller programmes.
• Support regular reviews, approvals and performance readouts, providing clear recommendations to cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required profile

• 4‑5+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, monetisation, commercial strategy, consulting, e‑commerce or a similar analytical commercial environment.
• Strong commercial judgement and analytical ability to size opportunities, assess impact and develop practical recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across finance, legal, product and operations.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Financial modelling experience, including building business cases and scenario analysis.
