Cargo & Shipping Operations Expert / Gas Dispatcher

About the role

Gasfin is seeking a Cargo‑ and Shipping Operations Expert who will act as a Gas Dispatcher for LNG cargoes. The role focuses on optimizing logistics and planning for commercial activities linked to FSRU terminals in Germany, supporting both cargo and shipping operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate commercial operations for loading, discharge and transport of LNG cargoes, including ADP scheduling and coordination with terminals and shippers.
• Evaluate contracts and diversion options to maximize value and support contract negotiations (SPAs, MSPAs, CNs, TUAs).
• Communicate daily with shippers, handle voyage change orders, and liaise with vessel masters and owners.
• Secure vessel clearance at load and discharge ports and ensure vessel owner CoU compliance.
• Optimize voyages, including fuel optimization, bunker replenishment and performance claims.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Develop relationships with terminals, vessel owners, shipping agents, surveyors and commercial operators.
• Provide market intelligence to support analytics and traders.

Required profile

• Education in a relevant field such as supply chain or business.
• Minimum three years of experience in a commodity trading company or related industry with a focus on LNG or natural gas.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities for managing internal and external interfaces.
• Excellent organisational skills and solid knowledge of operations and supply‑chain management.
• Thorough understanding of trading environments and processes.
• Fluent English; German language skills are an advantage.
