Connected Industrial System Engineer – VIE (12 months)

About the role

Airbus Operations GmbH is seeking a Connected Industrial System Engineer on a 12‑month VIE contract to support the Industrial Product Line department at its Hamburg assembly plant. The role focuses on integrating and optimizing connected industrial equipment in a high‑tech aircraft production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the integration of new industrial equipment into workshops and support operational teams during change management.
• Measure, analyse and report on the overall efficiency of equipment families.
• Apply Product Line Engineering methodology to standardise product/equipment families and promote reuse of technical solutions.
• Contribute to cost optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (18‑28 years old) with a strong motivation for industrial engineering.
• EU citizen (including Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) eligible for a VIE contract.
• Ability to work in an international, high‑tech production environment.
