Data and Policy Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Data and Policy Analyst to support evidence‑based decision‑making within a public‑sector environment. You will design, execute, and interpret quantitative research that informs policy development and program evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and analyse quantitative research to guide policy and strategic decisions.
• Develop, deploy, and manage surveys and data‑collection processes.
• Process and analyse data using statistical software, translating results into clear reports.
• Advise colleagues and senior management on research findings and data‑driven insights.
• Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of policies and programmes.
• Apply impact‑driven methodologies throughout the research lifecycle.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Sociology or a related field with a strong focus on research methods.
• Proven experience in research and analysis, preferably within a public‑sector organisation.
• Proficiency in SPSS and RStudio for data processing and statistical analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑starter attitude with a proactive, results‑oriented approach.
• Collaborative mindset capable of engaging stakeholders effectively.
