Director, Grow & Engage

About the role

We are seeking a Director, Grow & Engage to lead the product team responsible for onboarding, identity verification, subscriptions and overall user engagement at N26. The role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, marketing and compliance, translating growth strategies into scalable, compliant experiences for millions of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the growth and engagement product roadmap, balancing short‑term conversion wins with long‑term commercial bets.
• Own end‑to‑end product delivery from opportunity sizing and A/B experimentation to market launch and continuous iteration.
• Drive flagship commercial initiatives, partnering with Marketing, Risk/Compliance and Engineering to launch high‑impact offerings.
• Ensure product launches meet regulatory standards while maintaining top‑of‑funnel velocity.
• Cultivate a hypothesis‑driven experimentation culture to optimise conversion funnels and maximise user lifetime value.
• Align senior stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Risk/Compliance and executive leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading product teams in growth, onboarding or subscription domains, preferably within fintech or digital banking.
• Strong track record of delivering measurable growth metrics such as user acquisition, gross profit and retention.
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while driving rapid product development.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
