Director of Talent & People

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Talent & People to shape and scale the people function of a fast‑growing, technology‑driven organization based in Germany. Reporting to executive leadership, you will own talent strategy, people operations, and employee experience, building the systems that enable distributed teams to thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the overall Talent and People strategy, ensuring structure, processes, and capabilities support continued growth.
• Lead company‑wide talent acquisition, workforce planning, and recruiting operations to improve hiring quality, speed, and predictability.
• Manage and develop the recruiting team, creating scalable processes for multiple functions and regions.
• Support executive and leadership hiring initiatives, enhancing interview processes, candidate experience, and evaluation frameworks.
• Build and maintain scalable people‑operations systems covering onboarding, offboarding, documentation, policies, and employee support.
• Partner with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, team structures, and operational improvements.
• Develop performance management, feedback, career development, and retention programs.
• Establish visibility into organizational health through people metrics and proactive talent‑risk identification.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, People Operations, HR, or related leadership roles.
• Proven experience in organizations of 100+ employees, preferably high‑growth startups, agencies, or technology companies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead recruiting teams and manage end‑to‑end hiring operations.
• Strong understanding of people operations in remote‑first or globally distributed environments.
