Electrical Technician

About the role

We are a global Japanese manufacturer of dental and hairdressing equipment seeking an Electrical Technician to join our 14‑member dental business team near Frankfurt. The position combines device‑focused technical work (≈80%) with building electrical coordination and basic facility maintenance (≈20%).

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and distributors in Germany via phone, email and online channels.
• Install, set up, inspect and troubleshoot dental equipment.
• Assist the in‑house qualified electrical engineer with product inspections.
• Handle customised assembly requests and respond to technical queries from distributor technicians.
• Perform occasional on‑site visits to customer clinics (up to once a month).
• Coordinate and oversee building electrical systems and basic maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate closely with a fellow technician and assembly colleagues to ensure high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training (Ausbildung) or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering, mechatronics, printing technology or a related field.
• Hands‑on mindset with a passion for working with equipment and parts.
• Fluent in English and native‑level German.
• Team‑oriented, independent, reliable and organised.
• Willingness to travel for occasional customer site visits.
