Finance Associate – Management Reporting (CIB)

About the role

As a Finance Associate in the Management Reporting team for Corporate & Investment Banking, you will support the analysis, monitoring and reporting of financial performance across Germany and Belgium. The position offers exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering within an international, multi‑country environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyse and monitor financial performance data, including revenues, costs and balance‑sheet items.
• Analyse variances against budgets, forecasts and prior periods, identifying key drivers and trends.
• Track and report key financial and business KPIs to senior stakeholders.
• Produce management reports, executive presentations and financial analyses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost‑control processes for Germany and Belgium.
• Collaborate with business units, support functions and finance teams across Europe.
• Monitor budget execution and investigate significant deviations.
• Develop ad‑hoc analyses and reports to meet business and finance needs.
• Contribute to process‑improvement, automation initiatives and reporting enhancements.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, management control or performance management.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Analytical, structured and detail‑oriented with a proactive attitude.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with data‑analysis tools such as Power BI or SQL.
• Familiarity with Google Sheets and reporting tools.
