Financial Controller – ERP Implementation & Controlling

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Financial Controller to lead the scaling of our controlling function and drive the implementation of a new ERP system. You will ensure data quality, standardise processes, and deliver actionable financial insights to support rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable controlling processes, templates, and governance for a fast‑growing organisation.
• Lead the finance workstream of the ERP rollout, including process design, UAT testing, cut‑over preparation, training, and post‑go‑live stabilisation.
• Maintain high data quality across reporting and ERP, aligning chart of accounts, cost objects and reporting dimensions.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure a reliable monthly close foundation for timely controlling analysis.
• Support budgeting, rolling forecasts and scenario planning while continuously improving planning methodology.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports and KPIs that enable fast, data‑driven decisions.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in controlling, budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting, preferably in a scaling or project‑driven environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, pragmatic mindset.
• Fluent German (must‑have) and good English proficiency.

Required skills

• SAP S/4 HANA (FI/CO modules) – implementation or rollout experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel for reporting and data analysis.
