Footwear Designer – Design Shoes from Concept to Production

About the role

We are looking for a creative Footwear Designer to join our fast‑growing D2C brand. You will be responsible for turning ideas into market‑ready shoes, working closely with development, marketing and production teams in our Hamburg office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop innovative shoe designs from initial sketch through to final product.
• Create 3D models, technical drawings and prototypes.
• Collaborate with development, marketing and production to optimise aesthetics, functionality and user‑friendliness.
• Research design trends and market requirements to continuously improve the portfolio.
• Integrate sustainable materials and new design concepts based on trend analysis.
• Coordinate with suppliers and production partners to ensure quality and feasibility.

Required profile

• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Degree or training in product, industrial or fashion design.
• Strong creativity and sense of shape, colour and material.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Structured, independent work style.
