Freelance Lecturer – Business & IT (Berlin)

About the role

IU International University is looking for a freelance lecturer to join its Berlin campus and teach Business and IT related subjects. You will deliver practical, high‑relevance content to small groups of students, helping them bridge theory and real‑world applications.

Key responsibilities

• Teach fundamental topics such as research methods, scientific writing, literature management and citation styles.
• Design and prepare course materials based on the prescribed coursebook.
• Conduct on‑site practical teaching sessions and tutorials.
• Correct exams and assess student performance.
• Support students in combining theory with practice and foster their personal and professional development.

Required profile

• Successfully completed a university degree.
• Practical work experience in the relevant subject area.
• Initial teaching experience (e.g., tutor, teacher, lecturer, or research assistant) is desirable.
• Strong interest in innovative, digital, and modern education.
• English language proficiency at C1 level (CEFR).
