Front Desk Concierge – Boutique Hotel in DC

About the role

Method Co. is looking for a warm, polished Front Desk Concierge to be the first point of contact at ROOST White House, a design‑forward boutique hotel steps from the White House. You will create a welcoming, seamless experience for guests from arrival through departure.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with genuine hospitality and professionalism.
• Manage check‑ins, check‑outs, and reservation inquiries accurately and efficiently.
• Assist guests with questions, requests, and personalized recommendations.
• Maintain strong knowledge of hotel amenities, local attractions, and neighborhoods.
• Handle phone calls, emails, and guest communications in a timely, polished manner.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Keep the front desk and lobby area clean, organized, and guest‑ready.
• Resolve guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• Support administrative tasks, record‑keeping, and shift documentation.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of front desk, concierge, or guest‑service experience (hotel or luxury residential preferred).
• Strong communication skills and a naturally warm, guest‑focused demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation systems.
• Experience using front‑office software.
