Frontend Engineer – Build High‑Performance B2B Portals

About the role

As a Frontend Engineer on the ZEOS B2B Platform, you will help create and evolve the portal that enables partners to integrate with the Zalando ecosystem. You will work in an API‑first environment, turning complex business logic into intuitive, high‑performance user interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user‑facing features using React and TypeScript.
• Work within a Micro Frontend (MFE) and Single‑Page Application (SPA) architecture to build modular, scalable components.
• Own the full development lifecycle, from design and testing to deployment via CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high standards for code quality, documentation, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to define API contracts and with designers to deliver accessible, seamless experiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience building frontend features with React and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Micro Frontend and SPA patterns.
• Comfort with CI/CD processes and automated testing.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively with engineers and designers.
• Proactive attitude toward learning modern web trends.
